At abuZZZ Handicraft, our customers can be confident that we carry on our business in accordance with the current Bangladesh law. We are committed to respecting the privacy rights of customers and the Personal Information (PI) we collect. Why we Collect Personal Information

We collect PI for three reasons:
1. As we are a E-Commerce Store we require PI to fulfill our obligation to deliver our products to you.
2. If you sign up for our newsletter – we ask for your email Identification (ID) so we can contact you in the event of a promotion, discount, service or information regarding new products.
3. If you have any queries – we ask you to provide your email ID so we can follow up and answer any questions or concerns you have.

What Personal Information do we Collect?

We only collect PI that is directly related to one of our three services provided to you above. The amount and the type of the information collected will be limited to that which is needed to fulfill the identified purpose(s).  We only collect what we need. For example, we collect your name, contact information, address, and payment information to fulfill your order and deliver our product(s) to you.

Who Sees your Personal Information?

We will not disclose your PI without your consent for any matter unless we are compelled to do so  in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order (which may include lawful access by  Governmental authorities, courts or law enforcement agencies), to other organizations in the case of investigating a breach of an agreement or contravention of law or detecting, suppressing or preventing fraud, or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable Bangladesh law. In this case, we will aim to disclose only the specific information that is needed under the circumstances.

How we Protect your Personal Information

We store you PI in highly secure server and protect from loss or theft, unauthorized access, use or disclosure, modification or destruction through appropriate physical security measures and safeguards.

Consent

Wherever possible, we seek a person’s consent before we collect their PI. The form of consent may vary depending on the circumstances and the type of information being requested. Consent can be express or implied, and can be provided directly by the individual or the business organization. Express consent is preferred. Express consent can be given orally, electronically or in writing. Implied consent may be reasonably inferred from a person’s action or inaction. For example, providing an email ID to receive a response to a question. When determining the appropriate form of consent, we take into account the sensitivity of the PI, the reasons we are collecting it, and the reasonable expectations of the person. When using PI for a new purpose, we will document that new purpose and ask for consent again.

Retention and Destruction of Personal Information

We are responsible for ensuring that all PI is managed, retained and destroyed in a timely manner . This allows Us the ability to use the PI only for the intended purpose and destroy the information thereafter.

Access or Corrections to Personal Information

Subject to some exemptions, you have a right to be provided with access to your PI that has been collected by Us. You also have the right to request that abuZZZ handicraft correct any errors or omissions You may become aware of. You can request to view your PI by making a written request to view your PI that has been collected by Us. On our behalf, we may seek additional information from you for identification purposes in ascertaining your request and in the event that we have destroyed your PI from our server, we may inform you of the same. 

How Will I Know if this Policy Changes?

We will post the date our Policy was last updated at the top of the Privacy Policy. Please check our Privacy Policy periodically for changes.
